 | The Organizing Committee welcomes you to attend the 6th International Symposium Molecular Order and Mobility in Polymer Systems to be held on June 2-6, 2008 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. By this Symposium the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences is continuing the series of Saint-Petersburg meetings on macromolecules titled alternatively as “Molecular Mobility and Order in Polymer Systems”(I- 1994, III-1999 and V- 2005) and “Molecular Order and Mobility in Polymer Systems”.(II- 1996, IV-2002, VI- 2008 ).

The main aim of the Symposium is to discuss the modern problems of physics and chemistry of complex stimuli-responsive polymer systems with nano-structure organization and "soft" order preserving a pronounced molecular mobility. Both the experimental data and the results of theory and simulation will be presented .The main attention at Symposia will be paid to the equilibrium properties of polymer systems.
6th International Symposium will take place in Saint Petersburg - one of the glamorous cities of the world and second largest city of Russia. Found in 1703 by Peter the Great, this city has the harmony of architectural ensembles, golden spires and domes, palaces and squares, iron railings of bridges and granite embankments. All over the world Saint Petersburg is well known for it's famous museums - the Hermitage, Russian Museum, churches and cathedrals and former Imperial residences and palaces. Attending this Symposium, you will have the opportunity to visit Saint Petersburg during the White Nights Season in June 2008 when the City is the most charming and attractive.
Symposium is dedicated to the 60th Institute anniversary.
